Early Childhood Resource Lab (RECE)
The Early Childhood Resource Lab (RECE) is housed in the Children’s Library at Main Library. The Lab houses equipment for use by Teachers, Childcare Providers, Home School Families, and Education Students to create learning materials and other items.
Public access computers and the Library’s makerspace are on the Main Library’s 1st floor in the TechZone. TechZone includes a laser engraver, vinyl printer, recording studios, and much more.
Books in Boxes
Each Books in Boxes set consists of 35 copies of one title, packed in a box and checked out as a unit. These sets are perfect for teachers, who would like multiple copies of the same book so that each student may have their own book to read independently.
Teen Classroom Sets
Check out classroom sets of 35 books for use in your classroom. Titles are age-appropriate for students in grades 6-12. Sets are bookable and may be borrowed for up to 6 weeks.
Local History Resources
Our collections include many primary and secondary resources for students and teachers who are planning lessons related to our community’s history.
Don’t see a list of books or a single title that fits what you are looking for? Our Ask a Librarian service lets you email a request to the Library for a librarian to gather just what you seek.
