OhioLINK and SearchOhio are upgrading technology to improve service to customers.
Developing the new platform for lending requires a temporary pause that will affect all OhioLINK and SearchOhio libraries. Customers will not be able to request, borrow, or renew items during these time periods:
- OhioLINK will be unavailable from May 23 – October 27.
- SearchOhio will be unavailable from August 1 – October 27.
All OhioLINK and SearchOhio items should be returned to any ASCPL location as normal.
ASCPL’s collection will continue to be available to our customers. Our digital collection is available 24/7.

- OhioLINK and SearchOhio dramatically increases the number of materials available for borrowing. Last year OhioLINK and SearchOhio libraries shared more than 6 million books across the state.
- The aging INN-Reach platform will be replaced with modern technology with absolutely no costs for SearchOhio libraries.
- The new user interface will be more modern, intuitive, and simplified to make it easier to discover library resources and explore new content.
