The library offers a variety of online learning resources for our patrons. Using these tools, you can learn about the latest technology for web development and software, study a new language or get homework help from a live tutor. LinkedIn Learning
Providing access to over 6,000 online courses and more than 250,000 video tutorials teaching business, software, technology and creative skills.
Mango
Available on your desktop or through an app Mango uses native speakers, repetition and voice comparison to learn a new language or English as a second language. To use the app you will first need to create a Mango profile online through the library, then use that profile to activate the App.
Mometrix
Unlimited access to test preparation materials for over 1,000 different standardized exams. Access study guides and practice questions for exams including the GED, SAT, ACT, TEAS, HESI, Praxis, TOEFL, career and technical certification.
When entering the Mometrix website, your password is your library barcode number without the letters.
Northstar Digital Literacy
Northstar helps you test your computer knowledge. You can create an account to save your progress and use Northstar’s guided learning tutorials to boost your computer skills.
Transparent Language
Over 100 foreign language courses are available that can help you learn languages including French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. There’s also an ESL component that provides English language learning to speakers of over 25 different languages.
