Public computers are available at all library locations and are accessible with a valid Akron-Summit County Public Library card. You may use a computer for two hours. If no one is waiting, time may be extended to a maximum of three hours per day.

WiFi

WiFi access is available in all library locations and can be accessed outside of our buildings. Use a parking spot nearest the library building to receive the strongest possible signal strength.

Wi-Fi instructions: Connect your device to the "ASCPL-Guest" network and open a web browser to accept the ASCPL Splash Page’s terms of service.

If a connected device doesn’t automatically open the ASCPL Splash Page, or if your web browser can’t load websites, navigate to pubwifi.akronlibrary.org and select Accept. Only devices connected to ASCPL-Guest can access pubwifi.akronlibrary.org.

The Internet Access and Safety Policy applies to the use of public computers and wireless access at the library.
