Team Winter Reading
Team Winter Reading is open to groups in the Akron-Summit County Public Library service area, including adult day programs, early childhood programs, and classrooms. Group leaders and teachers should contact their local library for a code to sign up for Team Winter Reading on Beanstack. Group leaders will log reading on Beanstack. All reading counts, including listening to audiobooks.
All groups who achieve 20 days of reading will earn a digital “brag” sign and will be entered in a drawing to win a hot chocolate and cookies party. A digital copy of the sign will be emailed to the group leader to post to celebrate the achievement.
The Library's official service area includes the City of Akron and all of Summit County except for Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Peninsula, Stow-Munroe Falls, and Twinsburg, which are served by independent libraries.
