Join Summer Reading by digging into a good book, uncovering hidden history, and discovering the joy that reading brings. All ages are encouraged to log their reading and activities this summer. Earn milestone incentives and ticket entries for local basket raffles and grand prizes.

Beginning June 8:

How To Participate

Earn prizes as you read, are read to, or listen to an audiobook. For each reading milestone, receive a Local Prize Basket Raffle Ticket, a Grand Prize Drawing Ticket, and the prize listed below.

In addition to reading, participate in activities for additional Grand Prize Raffle Tickets.

  • Attend a program
  • Check out five or more library materials
  • Explore a database to learn something new
  • Read to a family member, friend, or pet
  • Visit a Library Reading Garden

Redeem tickets for Local Prize Baskets in-person at any ASCPL location.

Local Prize Baskets for children and teens may include art supplies, games, toys, and gift cards.

Local Prize Baskets for adults may include beverage tumblers, tote bags, notepads, bike gear (locks, lights, and bags), coloring and puzzle books, charging cables, and gift cards.

Grand Prizes

All Grand Prize tickets must be redeemed by 5 pm on Saturday, August 1. Grand Prize drawings will be held the week of August 10.
