Join us as we celebrate our 100th year of Summer Reading! All ages are encouraged to log their reading and activities this summer to earn prizes and chances to win prize baskets and grand prizes.
Beginning June 9:
- Participate online with Beanstack or with a paper log available at any ASCPL location.
- Receive a free cookie from Acme Fresh Market.
August 14 – Celebrate 100 Years of Summer Reading with us at the Akron Art Museum from 6-8 pm.

How To Participate
Earn prizes as you read, are read to, or listen to an audiobook. For each reading milestone, receive a Local Prize Basket Raffle Ticket, a Grand Prize Drawing Ticket, and the prize listed below.
10 Days

20 Days
- 100 Years of Summer Reading vinyl sticker
30 Days
- 100 Years of Summer Reading T-Shirt
40 Days
- McDonalds free smoothie coupon
50 Days
- Free Book for youth

In addition to reading, participate in activities for additional Grand Prize Raffle Tickets.
- Attend a program
- Check out five or more library materials
- Explore a database to learn something new
- Read to a family member, friend, or pet
- Visit a Library Reading Garden
Redeem tickets for Local Prize Baskets in-person at any ASCPL location.
Local Prize Baskets for children and teens may include art supplies, games, Squishmallows, toys, and gift cards.
Local Prize Baskets for adults may include beverage tumblers, hats, tote bags, charging cables, and gift cards.

Redeem tickets for Grand Prize Drawings on Beanstack if you are participating online or at any ASCPL location if you are participating using a paper log.
All Grand Prizes tickets must be redeemed by 5 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Grand Prize drawings will be held the week of August 11. Winners will be contacted directly.
