August 14 – Celebrate 100 Years of Summer Reading with us at the Akron Art Museum from 6-8 pm.

How To Participate
Earn prizes as you read, are read to, or listen to an audiobook. For each reading milestone, receive a Local Prize Basket Raffle Ticket, a Grand Prize Drawing Ticket, and the prize listed below.
10 Days
- Free Book for youth
- Friends of the Library free book coupon for adults
20 Days
- 100 Years of Summer Reading vinyl sticker
30 Days
- 100 Years of Summer Reading T-Shirt
40 Days
- McDonalds free smoothie coupon
50 Days
- Free Book for youth
- Friends of the Library free book coupon for adults
In addition to reading, participate in activities for additional Grand Prize Raffle Tickets.

- Check out five or more library materials
- Explore a database to learn something new
- Read to a family member, friend, or pet
- Visit a Library Reading Garden
Redeem tickets for Local Prize Baskets in-person at any ASCPL location. Local Prize Baskets for children and teens may include art supplies, games, Squishmallows, toys, and gift cards. Local Prize Baskets for adults may include beverage tumblers, hats, tote bags, charging cables, and gift cards.
Grand Prizes
All Grand Prize tickets must be redeemed by 5 pm on Saturday, August 2. Grand Prize drawings will be held the week of August 11.
