Would you like a chance to share your original story or poem with the world? If so, enter the Akron-Summit Country Public Library’s Teen Creative Writing Contest! Youth grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in a unique creative expression experience.

The submission period lasts between December 15 and February 28, 2026. All topics and ideas are welcome. A team of librarian judges will choose three winners to receive a $50 Amazon gift card and a bound copy of the Teen Creative Writing Contest Collection. All authors who submit acceptable entries will also receive a digital copy of the collection.
