IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Akron Makes, a free, interactive, family-friendly celebration of creativity and ingenuity, will take place Saturday, September 17, from 11 am to 4 pm at Main Library in downtown Akron. The event is where tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, engineers, artists, and students can show off their talents and interests with hands-on experiences throughout the library.
Ham Radio Fun, Stan Hywet Needlework Guild, KSS Robotics, Akron Children’s Museum, University of Akron’s Medical Device Design Team, Sensory Bus, Inclusioneers, Stomp Rockets, and Rustbelt Robotics.
Akron Makes, which coincides with the ReelAbilities Film Festival Cleveland, begins at 11 am with ReelAbilities films “A Critter Fable” and “A Morning with Aroha” in the Children’s Library.
