Do you love the guitar?  Have you ever thought about learning to play the guitar?  Then let me introduce you to Cleveland Classical Guitar Society whose mission is to teach, inspire and connect.  CCGS is a local nonprofit organization founded on the belief that music can create positive social change.

Cleveland Classical Guitar Society provides students with the amazing opportunity to explore music through classical guitar classes and private lessons. The CCGS Education Program is free to Cleveland students, including all instruction costs and guitars.  In their most recent endeavor, they created the Guitar@Home Academy, a private lessons virtual learning experience for students.

The Akron Summit County Public Library and Cleveland Classical Guitar Society invite you to enjoy the 2021 Cleveland Classical Guitar Society: Student Showcase featuring new students and advanced students taught by the CCGS staff and teachers.  Meet Director of Operations Jessica Sherwood as she shares some of the history and vision of CCGS.

Check out the libraries resources on guitar playing and our large collection of Song Books that contain sheet music!
