We are pleased to announce that the Library's Microbusiness Center, funded by a grant from the Knight Foundation, is now open. The Microbusiness Center is located on the first floor of Main Library in the area formerly occupied by the Library Shop on Main.
The Microbusiness Center has been created to provide accessible business training, educational resources and individualized direction to entrepreneurs, students and established business owners.
The Microbusiness Center offers co-working space to contemplate, cultivate or expand a business or business idea. The space will be open during regular library hours and Linda Hale, the Microbusiness Specialist, will be available by appointment. The center will offer business courses and workshops, many in cooperation with other organizations that assist business owners.
Interested participants who would like to use the co-working space need to fill out an application and attend an informal orientation to be aware of the rules, guidelines and available resources.
