Potter Faire Akron 2018

Potter Faire Akron

Saturday, November 10, 12 noon to 4 pm

Join us on for the 2nd Potter Faire Akron. Start by being sorted into your Hogwarts house for the day, take part in activities, games, and photo ops, dress in costume and take part in the costume parade and finish the day by seeing if your house won the House Cup. All ages are welcome to take part in this event. 

Schedule of Events

12 noon - 3:30 pm

1st Floor:

  • Picture yourself at Hogwarts
  • Runes with Professor McNeal

2nd Floor:

  • Hogwarts Great Hall with the Sorting Hat and House Cup
  • Boggart Cupboard, Wand Making, and other activities
  • Library wide scavenger hunt
  • Fortune Telling with Madame Trelawney
  • Hogwarts chess

Atrium Level:

  • Quidditch Practice
  • Common Room – relax with games, coloring, and quizzes
  • Hogsmeade will bring merriment with vendors including Stray Dog Café, Blimp City, Swish and Flick among others

3rd Floor:

  • Bertie Bott’s Taste Test
  • Scavenger Hunt

Photo Ops to look for:

  • ES one
  • Compare Yourself to Characters and Creatures
  • Visit to Gringott’s
  • The Library Restricted Section
  • Your Letter to Hogwarts
  • Platform 9 ¾

1:00 and 2:00

  • Meet Jungle Bob & His Fantastic Beasts.  Each show lasts about 45 minutes

  • Costume contest in the auditorium

All programs are free and open to all. Parking in the parking garage and on city streets is free on weekends. No registration is required for this event.
