The library provides free access to Federal Population Schedules from 1790 to 1940 through three databases: Ancestry Library Edition, which is available from within any Akron-Summit County Public Library, as well as Heritage Quest and My Heritage Library Edition, which are available from any library or any computer with internet access using an ASCPL card. All databases may be accessed using the links on our Research Databases page.
Special Collections also has several non-population schedules for Summit County available on microfilm. Links to online indexes to these schedules are provided below. If you find a name in an index and would like to request copies of the pages pertaining to that person, contact us.
