 Fairlawn-Bath Branch Friends of the Library
Friends of the Fairlawn-Bath Branch Library is a grassroots organization that’s been raising funds for 13 years through annual membership fees and semi-annual book sales (April and October) to support the work of our Branch. The monies generated by this group are used to:
- enhance book, DVD, and CD offerings for patrons of all ages
- supplement monthly and special programs for patrons of all ages
- purchase equipment, materials, and supplies
- provide “extras” for our Fairlawn-Bath Branch which are not included in the overall budget for the Akron-Summit County Public Library system
In addition, Friends of the Fairlawn-Bath Branch Library contribute annually to college scholarships for those currently working for the Akron-Summit Public Library system seeking a degree/advanced degree in library science and provide financial support to the Akron-Summit County Public Library system for library levies that appear from time to time on the ballot.
