Copyright and Reproduction Information

The Special Collections Division will provide reproductions of its holding when doing so will not damage the item or violate copyright laws.  The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs making reproductions of copyrighted material.  Items found in our on-line exhibits may be protected by this copyright law.  The library can make reproductions available for the personal use, private study, scholarship or research.  Alteration or derivative use of these items without the express written permission of the copyright holder may constitute an infringement of the copyright law.
