Highland Square Branch Library is accessible from Interstate 77 at the Copley Rd. exit east to Hawkins Ave., North to W. Market St. and east to the Library.
It is also accessible from State Route 8 northbound at the Market St. exit, or southbound at the Perkins St. exit, west to Union St., south to Market St. and west to the Library.
Highland Square Branch Library opened in 1930 in a house near Highland Square and moved to its present location in March 1956, where it continues to be an important member of the community.
The 4,312 square foot building cost $108,850 at the time it was built, including furniture and equipment.
Current library statistics show that West Hill Branch has a current collection size of 54,071 and in 2006 circulated 75,085 items.
We are open 6 days a week to meet your needs for education, information and recreation.
Our friendly, skilled staff includes a branch manager who is also the children’s librarian, a teen librarian, an adult services librarian, public service assistants, a shelver, and student assistants.
At Highland Square Branch Library you can find:
