Akron, OH – Area genealogists are invited to mingle with fellow researchers and uncover the details of their ancestry at “Late Night at the Library,” an evening of genealogy research and activities sponsored by the Special Collections Division and the Summit County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society Friday, October 12 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Main Library, 60 S. High St., Akron.

Norton Branch Library will open at 11 am Saturday, October 6. The late opening will help library customers avoid traffic disruptions that are anticipated with Norton Cider Festival Parade. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Akron Marathon will take place on Saturday, September 29 and both Main Library and Highland Square Branch will open at Noon instead of 10 a.m. that day.
