We’ve been recognized nationally as one of the finest public libraries in the United States due to our excellent customer service, collaborative community involvement, and high level of customer and employee satisfaction.

The ASCPL has created a new Facilities Services Specialist position to support our Mission Statement to provide resources for learning and leisure, information services, meeting spaces, and programs for all ages that support, improve, and enrich individual, family, and community life.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation and sick leave, 11 paid holidays, voluntary benefits (health, dental, and vision), ASCPL-provided life insurance, and retirement through the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).

To make sure our vendors are completing the work expected, the position manages service contract partners by ensuring that technicians and contractors are performing prescribed proactive maintenance, adhering to maintenance plans and safety protocols, and ensuring all maintenance activities are completed effectively and on time in accordance with contracts.

The position also performs some administrative duties, including serving as the front desk receptionist for the Facilities Services office, ordering supplies and uniforms, preparing miscellaneous correspondence and meeting minutes, managing spreadsheets, distributing mail, filing and recordkeeping, collecting timesheets, and answering telephones.
