Education

The Business & Government Division maintains the library’s collection of books on the subject of education, including homeschooling, higher education, adult education; literacy; special education; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); and TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication). The collection also includes books on public policy and social issues in education.

Additionally, the library offers cardholders free access to the following research databases:

ERIC (Educational Resource Information Center) - Over 800,000 references to thousands of educational topics. Includes journal articles, books, theses, conference papers, as well as standards and guidelines.

Professional Development Collection – Designed for professional educators, this database provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 550 high quality education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports.
