almost always for a fee. We've tried to include some links that won't charge you a dime, peso, franc, or yen! Plus, a few that might.
Library Resources
ASCPL's Business and Government Division has a number of books on international trade available
for use in the library during regular hours.
- A Basic Guide to Exporting

- A great introduction to the exporting process, published by the US Department of Commerce.

- Exporters' Encyclopedia

- Published by Dun & Bradstreet, this source provides comprehensive information on exporting
issues for individual countries.
- D&B Europa
- Directories 338.74054 D926
- This Dun & Bradstreet publication provides directory and corporate officer information on European compaines.
- Kompass Directories
- Call number varies
- Kompass publishes directories listing compaines' products and services for a number of
countries. The Library owns over 30 individual country volumes including European, Asian,
and Middle Eastern countries. Additionally, their website allows a searcher to view a
limited number of results for free. Click here to get

- World Chamber of Commerce Directory

- This directory is a quick reference source for obtaining telephone and address of chambers of commerce both in the United States and abroad.
- Stat USA

- STAT-USA/Internet, a service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the site for the
U.S. business, economic and trade community, providing authoritative information from the Federal
government. This subscription-based service is available upon request in the Business and Government Division at Main Library.

- A service of Industry Canada, the Canadian equivilent of the U.S. Department of Commerce, this
site utilizes both Canadian and U.S. trade statistics allowing you to create reports of U.S.

- The Trade Information Center (TIC) is a comprehensive resource for information on all federal government export assistance programs. As a first stop for exporters, the TIC provides
referrals and information on all federal government export assistance programs, general export counseling, international market research and international trade leads, sources of export financing, country-specific marketing reports, and much more.

- This site indexes and annotates more than 3,000 links related to
international trade. You can search the database by keyword and browse
by subject listings.
