Description
Tallmadge founder Reverend David Bacon’s plan for the town included an Academy as well as one central and six surrounding district schools. This school, District School #2, was located in the northwestern part of Tallmadge, referred to as the “Northwest Six Corners” because the layout of the streets in Tallmadge forms an intersection of three streets, with six street corners in each of the four corners of the city.
