Description
The Second Academy Building was built immediately after the first building burned down in 1820. It was later relocated to 67 Southeast Ave in Tallmadge in the 1830s. The Academy was known for its quality of instruction with students attending from all over Northeast Ohio to attend. The Academy closed when Tallmadge High School was established in 1876.
