Description
The view from Southwest Avenue shows workers from the Works Progress Adminsitration (WPA) clearing snow from the circle by hand. The WPA was a popluar work relief program during the Great Depression. Pictured in the background are the Old Town Hall, the hotel, the tile shop, and the Methodist Church.
