This photograph was taken outside the County Courthouse where the committee had successfully asked the county commissioners for a paved road to Akron. The Pierce Arrow car belonged to J.K. Williams. The committee members, from left to right, were: F.F. Fenn, 85; Frank D. Alling, 82; George H. Root, 80; Sidney C. Barnes, 81; Henry Warner, 86; and Rufus R. Upson, 79.
