Description
Fourth of July celebrations have always been a major event in Tallmadge. The girls pictured took part in the 1908 celebration; each represented a different state in the Union and wore a sash identifying that state. As was true here, the Town Park – location of the Town Hall seen in the background here – was the center of such celebrations.
