Description
Hampe Wesleyan Methodist Church was established on May 22, 1947 and the church building completed in December of 1947. Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Jones hosted services for the 13 charter members until the building was completed. Rev. D.B. Hampe was the first pastor and oversaw the building projects. Wesleyan Methodist Church is still located at 652 Newton Street.
