Description
This depot on Northeast Avenue replaced one at the same location that was destroyed by fire in 1903. The station operated around the clock. As Tallmadge became home to people working in Akron, the passenger cars of the trains were filled with commuters. The beginning of the bus lines in 1915 brought this aspect of the railroad in Tallmadge to an end.
