Description
Dr. Frank Upson (a.k.a. Francis Wright Upson) was a well known member of the community and the son of Dr. Daniel Upson. His obituary in the Akron Beacon Journal described him as “remarkable for simplicity of character and uprightness of life,” and described his occupation as "under the obligations of the Christian profession."  Dr. Upson and his family lived in this home from 1848, the year it was built, until they left Tallmadge in 1872. It is presently occupied by the Hennessey-Bagnoli Funeral Home.
