Library History Digital Exhibit
Description
The Mogadore Branch Library was opened in 1966 in a former First National Bank building on Cleveland Avenue. The building was formerly owned by J. Frank Kimmerline. Until 1982, the cost of operating the branch was shared by the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the Portage County District Library. The current Mogadore Branch opened in 1999.
