Library History Digital Exhibit
Description
As the population of Green Township grew, residents expressed interest in a library branch for their community. With funds from a newly established Friends of Green Branch Library, and pre-paid rent authorized by the Library Board of Trustees, work began to remodel the old fire station in Greensburg. The branch opened in 1979 and was replaced by the new Green Branch Library in 1999.
