Description
The Business and Labor Division was established in 1944 to "discover what information is needed by businessmen and workers in the course of their daily tasks and to make such facts and figures readily available." The library's annual report for 1945 reported that many servicemen returning from the war used the division's services to aid in their adjustment to civilian life. From left to right are L.D. McNabb of United Rubber Workers Local #55, Nada Thomas of the Group Services Department, and Harley V. Brown, representative of the URW.
