Description
The Akron Public Library's bookmobiles visited school districts that did not have ready access to the Main or branch libraries. Mobile Services continues this tradition today with regular visits to schools, day care centers, and neighborhoods. In addition, Mobile Serivces extends library service to senior housing facilities, nursing homes, apartment buildings, and the Summit County Jail.
