Description
Originally called the Fairlawn Sub Branch, this branch opened in 1932 in an old school building now occupied by the Fairlawn Park Garden and Civic Center.  In 1958, the library was moved to Dr. Floyd F. Ayres' home at 1765 West Market Street. This building was replaced in 2002 with the Northwest Akron Branch located on Shatto Avenue.
