Description
Sister Evangeline Doyle O.P. was an Artist in Residence at Our Lady of the Elms when she received a commission from the Akron Society of Artists to create a piece of art to commemorate the  fiftieth anniversary of the organization. The 5000 pound sculpture made of Indiana limestone was installed in the Kate Clapp Garden in the High Street courtyard of Main Library in 1982. In 2001 it was relocated to the Northwest Akron Branch.
