The library’s local history collections include a variety of materials about the history and development of Akron and Summit County. Our Local History Databases include references to thousands of items in collections held by three divisions at the Main Library, as well as the Frank E. Lawrence Collection of historic materials about Tallmadge maintained at the Tallmadge Branch Library.
