This group checks to see if statements made by politicians are factual, they dispel false rumors, and they report which groups are backing which candidates. It is a clearinghouse to find out what is true or not.

How much money have candidates spent on their campaigns? What lobby groups are spending the most for political influence? Who are the top individual contributors to political campaigns? OpenSecrets.org provides these answers along with fascinating additional information.
