About the Division

Science & Technology is the center for the Library's information related to math and the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, etc.); cooking, gardening, parenting, pets, home maintenance and repair; engineering, architecture, manufacturing methods, and construction; health and medicine; electronics, inventions, patents and trademarks; publishing and computer software books; and philosophy, psychology and the paranormal.

The Health Information Center; the Patent & Trademark Resource Center; the How-to-do-it Collection of archival magazines, SAMS photofacts, and Rider's Perpetual Trouble Shooter's manuals; and the Science Fair Project Index and collection combine with our over 65,000 other books to inform and entertain students, hobbyists, researchers, professionals and the casual reader. Additionally, the Library's magazines and newspaper collections are here.
