Local History Resources For Teachers And Students

Special Collections works with local teachers and students throughout the school year. Current collaborations include Stan Hywet’s Meet the Staff program for the Akron Public Schools and Archbishop Hoban High School’s Revolutionary War Days program. Our collections include many primary and secondary resources for students and teachers who are planning lessons related to our community’s history. Highlights of our collections include:
