Interlibrary Loan

If you have searched our catalog but can't find what you need, we offer three convenient Interlibrary Loan options: SearchOhio, OhioLINK, and traditional Interlibrary Loan.


SearchOhio offers borrowing access to the collections of over 20 public libraries throughout the state. If you don’t find an item in our catalog, simply click the SearchOhio icon to expand your search. This free service is made possible through a partnership of participating Ohio public libraries.
Items usually arrive in three to five business days and can be picked up at any of our library locations.

  • Items usually arrive in three to five business days and can be picked up at any of our library locations.
  • Loan period is 21 days for books, audiobooks, and music and seven days for DVDs.
  • Most titles can be renewed up to three times if there are no other requests or holds on the item.
  • Overdue fine is 50 cents per day with a maximum overdue fine of $25.
  • A replacement fee of $25 will be billed for an item returned damaged or not returned within 30 days of the due date.
  • SearchOhio policies, fines, and charges are determined by the SearchOhio consortium and cannot be waived or negotiated.
