The Library’s Mind, Body, & Sole: Read At Your Own Pace reading and wellness program attracts over 11,000 participants every summer, with patrons reading and exercising community wide. Through the generosity of our supporters—Akron Rubber Ducks, Akron Community Foundation, Akron Children’s Hospital, Akron General, Summa Health System, Friends of Main Library, First Book, and Rubber City McDonalds--the Library encourages residents to make the components of total well-being of the mind and body a part of their daily lives.
